Photo: CAN rejects relocation of Boko Haram members to Anambra

The Anambra state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, yesterday July 6th held a press conference where they rejected the relocation of Boko Haram members to Ekwulobia prisons in the state. Speaking through its state Chairman, Tim Okpala, the association said relocation of the terror suspects poses a security threat to the people of the state

“We condemn the act of bring insurgents to an ordinary prison like Ekwulobia Prison in Anambra state. We recommend that they be transferred to maximum security prisons in this country. We ask the Federal government as a matter of urgency to relocate the Boko Haram inmates to other places”.
