The Commander, Rapid Respond Squard, RRS, Mr Tunji Disu has rewarded the Police officers who assisted a pregnant woman during labour in Lagos.
Tunji Disu made this known on Thursday in the office premises of Lagos Rapid Response Squard, Alausa, Ikeja where he hosted the Police Officers involved.
He expressed happiness in the commitment of the officers during the discharge of duties.
He said that the Police primary aim is to protect lives and properties and that the officers have portrayed themselves to be a good ambassadors of Nigeria Police Force.
The Commander encouraged others to emulate the kind gestures of the Police Officers.
It was earlier reported that the Police officers assisted a pregnant woman in labour at the middle of the night during COVID-19 Lockdown.
The Officers drove the woman and her husband to the hospital where she later gave birth to a baby girl.
The incident occurred in the ikoyi axis of Lagos State.
Rapid Response Squard is a Unit under Lagos Police Command.
